Publisher’s Message
Welcome to the 2009/2010 edition of the Edmonton Woman Guide to Leisure & Travel.
This is the sixth issue of the guide, a special publication of Edmonton Woman magazine, which has been in print for 15 years.
Women are increasingly travelling more and using their leisure time in more diverse ways. The Edmonton Woman Guide to Leisure & Travel focuses on aspects of leisure and travel that are of interest to women in Edmonton and surrounding communities.
This issue includes articles on Alberta’s natural wonders, British Columbia’s Vancouver Island, the Canadian cottage dream, house swap vacations, antique hunting tips and new boating safety regulations.
This guide also contains useful sections that you would want to retain for ongoing reference: Travel and Leisure Resources, 2009/2010 Entertainment Listings, as well as a handy Travel Checklist.
