Publisher’s Message
Welcome to the 2008/2009 edition of the Edmonton Woman Guide to Leisure & Travel.
This is the fifth issue of the guide, a special publication of Edmonton Woman magazine, which has been publishing for 14 years.
Women are increasingly travelling more and using their leisure time in more diverse ways. The Edmonton Woman Guide to Leisure & Travel focuses on aspects of travel and leisure that will be of interest to women in Edmonton and surrounding communities.
This issue includes articles on Alberta’s parks; tips for travelling to the Caribbean; women’s outdoor camps; women in motor sports; and visiting Lugano, Switzerland. There are also features on cruising; gardening; golf; and interior decorating. Also, handy information about various leisure and travel options and contacts are included in a special listings section.
This publication is part of a continuing effort by Edmonton Woman Magazine to produce specialty publications that women will find entertaining and informative.
