Centre Networking site that offers an impressive array
of business and career resources.
Canadian Women's Business
Network Offers a variety of information for women in
business including financing advice, marketing tips, directories,
and links to business services.

Canadian Breast
Cancer Foundation
Canadian Women's
Health Network A network of individuals, groups, organizations
and institutions concerned with women's health. Their aim
is to provide easier access to health information and resources,
provide a forum for critical debate, and act as a watchdog
on emerging issues and trends that may effect women's health.
Centres
of Excellence for Women's Health A women's health research
program based in five centers of excellence in BC, Manitoba,
Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes.
Health
Canada - Women's Health Bureau The Women's Health Burea
works with other divisions of the department to ensure that
Health Canada programs and policies properly address women's
health. Links to other Canadian and U.S. health websites.
History/culture top

Power! The homepage for Girl Power! a campaign of the
U.S. Department of Health and Human Services designed to encourage
nine to 14-year-old girls to make the most of their lives.
Role
model project for girls A site created to share the idea
that women can grow up to be almost anything. Featuring career
descriptions by women and personal success stories.
Today's
Parent The online version of this parenting magazine comes
complete with parenting forums, a penpal section for stay-at-home
moms and dads, and a free monthly newsletter delivered via
e-mail.
Rights/equality top
Amnesty
International USA Women's Human rights Programs Reports
from a host of individual countries, news releases, urgent
actions, documents and links, as well as information about
the organization and their program on women's human rights.
Canadian
Women's Foundation Canada's first and only public charitable
foundation for women and girls. The foundation was founded
to support results-oriented solutions to the problems faced
by women and girls.
Equality Now Equality
Now is an international human rights organization dedicated
to action for the civil, political, economic and social rights
of girls and women.
Status
of Women Canada The federal government agency charged
with promoting the equality of women. Site areas include:

Dates, Research and Resources. Features many links to other
departments and agencies.
United
Nations Division for the Advancement of Women Starting
point for various women-related UN sites. There is information
about the Division for the Advancement of Women, the Commission
on the Status of Women, and the Committee on the Elimination
of Discrimination Against Women.

not-for-profit organization which works to achieve gender
